Telheiras station will be closed.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.metrolisboa.pt\/viajar\/campo-grande-linha-amarela\/\">Campo Grande<\/a> station on the Yellow line will maintain regular train service.<\/p>\n<p>On April 14 (Friday) trains will run until closing time. Normal service will resume on the entire Green line on April 27 (Thursday).<\/p>\n<p>During the intervention period, Alvalade station south atrium will close at 01:00 am \u00a0(instead of 09:30 pm)<\/p>\n<p>Train supply will be increased during peak hours until normal operation on the Green line section is restored.<\/p>\n<p>During this time, we also recommend using the Carris lines on the Telheiras \u2013 Campo Grande \u2013 Alvalade axis:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.carris.pt\/viaje\/carreiras\/767-campo-martires-patria-reboleira-metro\/\">767<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 Campo M\u00e1rtires P\u00e1tria \u2013 Reboleira (Metro)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.carris.pt\/viaje\/carreiras\/747-campo-grande-metro-pontinha-metro\/\">747<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 Campo Grande (Metro) \u2013 Pontinha (Metro)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.carris.pt\/viaje\/carreiras\/778-campo-grande-metro-colegio-militar-metro\/\">778<\/a> \u2013 Campo Grande (Metro) \u2013 Col\u00e9gio Militar (Metro)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cp.pt\/passageiros\/pt\">CP \u2013 Comboios de Portugal <\/a>service can also be a transport option through the Roma-Areeiro station, to connect to the Yellow line through CP&#8217;s Entrecampos station.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Information about the ongoing works:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>What is being done?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As part of the future Circle Line, this work will prepare the relocation of the departure platform at Campo Grande station and the connection of the Green line to the Campo Grande &#8211; Rato section (currently part of the Yellow line).<\/p>\n<p><strong>What does it entail?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Track switch point replacement at the Calvanas branch of the Calvanas Workshop and Depot (PMOII);<\/li>\n<li>Assembling prefabricated reinforced concrete parts for the east platform extension;<\/li>\n<li>The first stage of installation of the metallic cover over the extension of the east platform at Campo Grande station;<\/li>\n<li>Diversion and replacement of the dry riser outlet in the Campo Grande\/Alvalade section.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=&#8221;29 and 30 April &#8211; Service closed between Campo Grande and Rato&#8221; open_toggle_text_color=&#8221;#00A19B&#8221; open_toggle_background_color=&#8221;RGBA(255,255,255,0)&#8221; closed_toggle_background_color=&#8221;#00A19B&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.20.2&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; toggle_level=&#8221;h4&#8243; toggle_font_size=&#8221;19px&#8221; open=&#8221;off&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>On April 29 and 30 (Saturday and Sunday), trains on the Yellow line will not run between Campo Grande and Rato stations due to signalling system upgrade works.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-65319 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.metrolisboa.pt\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/04\/DiagramasEncerramentos-02-1024x1024.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.metrolisboa.pt\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/04\/DiagramasEncerramentos-02-1024x1024.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.metrolisboa.pt\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/04\/DiagramasEncerramentos-02-980x979.png 980w, https:\/\/www.metrolisboa.pt\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/04\/DiagramasEncerramentos-02-480x480.png 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><\/p>\n<p>During this period the following stations will be closed: Cidade Universit\u00e1ria, Entre Campos, Campo Pequeno, Saldanha I (Yellow line), Picoas, Marqu\u00eas de Pombal II (Yellow line) and Rato.<\/p>\n<p>Trains will only run on the Odivelas \u2212 Campo Grande section of the Yellow line.<\/p>\n<p>Campo Grande station (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.metrolisboa.pt\/viajar\/campo-grande-linha-amarela\/\">Yellow line<\/a>) will remain in operation from 06:30 a.m. to 01:00 a.m., with the following service changes:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Campo Grande<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Yellow Line &#8211; Boarding platform towards Odivelas \u2013 in operation;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Yellow Line &#8211; Boarding platform towards Rato \u2013 closed.<\/p>\n<p>Campo Grande (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.metrolisboa.pt\/viajar\/campo-grande-linha-amarela\/\">Yellow<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.metrolisboa.pt\/viajar\/campo-grande-linha-verde\/\">Green<\/a> lines), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.metrolisboa.pt\/viajar\/saldanha-linha-vermelha\/?doing_wp_cron=1681288862.3710401058197021484375\">Saldanha II<\/a> (Red line) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.metrolisboa.pt\/viajar\/marques-de-pombal-linha-azul\/\">Marqu\u00eas de Pombal I<\/a> (Blue line) stations will operate, with the following restrictions:<\/p>\n<p>On April 28 (Friday) trains will run normally until closing time. Normal service will resume on the entire Green line on May 1 (Monday).<\/p>\n<p>During this time, we recommend using the following Carris buses:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.carris.pt\/viaje\/carreiras\/738-qta-barros-alto-sto-amaro\/\">738<\/a> \u2013 Estrada Luz \u2013 Alto Sto Amaro<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.carris.pt\/viaje\/carreiras\/701-campo-grande-metro-campo-ourique\/\">701<\/a> \u2013 Campo Grande (Metro) \u2013 Campo Ourique<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.carris.pt\/viaje\/carreiras\/727-est-roma-areeiro-restelo\/\">727<\/a> \u2013 Esta\u00e7\u00e3o Roma-Areeiro \u2013 Restelo (N\u00e3o realiza o percurso no dia 30)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Information about the ongoing works:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>What is being done?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Construction of a shunting area at Cidade Universit\u00e1ria station to allow for train inversion (replacing the one at Campo Pequeno) and improve operational conditions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What does it entail?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Implementation of the train control signalling systems namely, light signals, motorizing track switch equipment, and modifying the supervision and centralized traffic control systems in the new shunting area.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why is it necessary to interrupt the train operation between Campo Grande and Rato?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This intervention is necessary to keep the Yellow line&#8217;s service running between Cidade Universit\u00e1ria and Rato stations from May 2 through July 7, minimize its impact, and guarantee passenger connection between the metro mode and the suburban trains at Entrecampos station, as well as the connection to the University Campus and Santa Maria Hospital.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=&#8221;May 2 to July 7 &#8211; Service closed between Telheiras and Campo Grande as well as between Campo Grande and Cidade Universit\u00e1ria&#8221; open_toggle_text_color=&#8221;#00A19B&#8221; open_toggle_background_color=&#8221;RGBA(255,255,255,0)&#8221; closed_toggle_background_color=&#8221;#00A19B&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.20.2&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; toggle_level=&#8221;h4&#8243; toggle_font_size=&#8221;19px&#8221; open=&#8221;off&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>From May 2 to July 7, due to railway track upgrading works, trains on the Green line will not run between Telheiras and Campo Grande stations and, on the Yellow line, between Campo Grande and Cidade Universit\u00e1ria stations.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-65320 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.metrolisboa.pt\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/04\/DiagramasEncerramentos-03-1024x1024.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.metrolisboa.pt\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/04\/DiagramasEncerramentos-03-1024x1024.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.metrolisboa.pt\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/04\/DiagramasEncerramentos-03-980x979.png 980w, https:\/\/www.metrolisboa.pt\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/04\/DiagramasEncerramentos-03-480x480.png 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><\/p>\n<p>During this period, Telheiras station will be closed.<\/p>\n<p>These upgrades will allow the new viaducts to be linked to the existing infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>During this time, the Yellow line from Odivelas to Campo Grande will only operate with 3-car trains.<\/p>\n<p>Operation on the Green line from Campo Grande to Cais do Sodr\u00e9 will be carried out with 3-car trains in the initial phase, with plans to increase to 6-car trains on a date to be determined. Maria<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Information about the ongoing works:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>What is being done?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Integration of the new viaducts built west of the current Campo Grande station into the existing infrastructure, allowing the Circle line to be operational in the future.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What does it entail?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Connecting the two new structures in viaducts;<\/li>\n<li>Installation of new switches, allowing for a new connection between the Campo Grande (Green line) and Cidade Universit\u00e1ria.<\/li>\n<li>Installation of new switches, allowing for a new connection between the Campo Grande (Green line) and Telheiras.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_accordion_item][\/et_pb_accordion][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.20.2&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; header_text_color=&#8221;#00A19B&#8221; header_2_text_color=&#8221;#00A19B&#8221; header_3_text_color=&#8221;#00A19B&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>To mitigate the impacts, Metropolitano de Lisboa will increase train frequency on the Green line (reducing waiting times between trains) and coordinate with Carris and other operators to strengthen their transportation service.<\/p>\n<p>The Circular line will be a reality by the end of 2024 and is a structuring project for the city of Lisbon and for the improvement of accessibility and connectivity, since the planned network enables the development of a new internal circularity, materializing a high-frequency distribution platform and connecting metropolitan services more efficiently.<\/p>\n<p>This project, associated with others foreseen in Lisbon Metro network Expansion and Modernization Plan (extension of the S\u00e3o Sebasti\u00e3o\/Alc\u00e2ntara Red line, construction of the Loures\/Odivelas Light Surface Metro line, a new CBTC railway signaling system and the acquisition of a new rolling stock fleet) will reorganize metropolitan mobility, with an effective increase in the number of public transport users and a reduction in the use of individual transport, with significant environmental gains and an increase in the quality of service that \u00a0Lisbon Metro provides to its customers.<\/p>\n<p>Modern and even more efficient public transportation, fighting car congestion, encouraging sustainable forms of mobility, reducing CO2 emissions, and improving quality of life are the benefits that Lisbon Metro will continue to offer to those who live, work, and visit the city of Lisbon.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;4.20.2&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_column type=&#8221;4_4&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.20.2&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Rato\/Cais do Sodr\u00e9 extension of the Yellow and Green lines, under the Lisbon Metro network expansion plan, will enter a critical phase over the next three months, which will result in some constraints on train circulation on parts of these two lines.
