Ant\u00f3nio Augusto de Figueiredo da Silva Martins.<\/li>\n<li>As M\u00e1quinas de venda autom\u00e1tica OCTAL v\u00eam substituir as da esta\u00e7\u00e3o Col\u00e9gio Militar (linha Azul) e s\u00e3o inseridas em todas as novas esta\u00e7\u00f5es da linha Vermelha (Alameda II ao Oriente)<\/li>\n<li>Em 1997 entra em circula\u00e7\u00e3o o ML 95, a segunda s\u00e9rie desta gera\u00e7\u00e3o de material circulante. Estas carruagens t\u00eam as mesmas caracter\u00edsticas da ML 90, diferindo somente pelas cores do seu interior e, em termos de diferen\u00e7as t\u00e9cnicas, utilizam uma nova tecnologia de controlo dos motores de tra\u00e7\u00e3o e o acionamento das portas deixa de ser pneum\u00e1tico para passar a ser el\u00e9trico. Outras diferen\u00e7as t\u00e9cnicas relativamente \u00e0 s\u00e9rie anterior incluem a introdu\u00e7\u00e3o do sistema digital autom\u00e1tico de informa\u00e7\u00e3o aos passageiros e de <a href=\"http:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bateria_(qu%C3%ADmica)\">baterias<\/a> para assegurar a ilumina\u00e7\u00e3o e ventila\u00e7\u00e3o das carruagens em caso de falha de corrente. Foram adquiridas entre 1997 e 1998 um total de 114 carruagens (numera\u00e7\u00e3o M-301 a M-414) e s\u00e3o compostas por unidades motoras e reboques agrupados em unidades triplas com uma motora nos extremos e um reboque ao meio (motora\/reboque\/motora), podendo tamb\u00e9m circular em unidades duplas sem o reboque (motora\/motora). Atingem uma velocidade m\u00e1xima de 72 Km\/h. Circularam, durante cerca de 3 anos, em simult\u00e2neo com o ML 7 e cerca de 6 com o ML 79.
