Yellow Line: timetable changes

Temporary timetable changes on the section Cidade Universitária – Rato

From April 22 to April 28, there will be temporary changes in the timetable of the Yellow Line’s section between Cidade Universitária and Rato stations (and opposite direction).

See the changes in opening and closing times to the public on the section between Cidade Universitária – Rato:
– April 22 (Saturday) – open from 9.00 am to 1.00 am
– April 23 (Sunday) – open from 9.00 am to 11.00 pm
– April 24 (Monday) to April 28 (Friday) – open from 6.30 am to 11.00 pm

During this time period the following stations will be closed: Cidade Universitária, Entre Campos, Campo Pequeno, Saldanha I (Yellow line), Picoas, Marquês de Pombal II (Yellow line) and Rato.

Trains on the Yellow line will only run between Odivelas – Campo Grande.

  • 738– Estrada Luz – Alto Sto Amaro
  • 701– Campo Grande (Metro) – Campo Ourique
  • 727– Estação Roma-Areeiro – Restelo

These changes to the Metro’s working hours are necessary due to maintenance works on the infrastructure of the Yellow line’s signalling system.

The nature and complexity of this work are not compatible with train circulation and the operation of the transport system, and follow a work programme that extends beyond Metropolitano de Lisboa’s regular timetable (1.00 am to 6.30).
