Metro service on New Year’s Eve

The Metro runs all night on New Year’s Eve.

On New Year’s Eve, December 31^st, Metro service will run all night on the Blue, Green and Red lines, and the following stations will be kept open:

Blue Line: Reboleira, Pontinha, Colégio Militar/Luz, Jardim Zoológico, São Sebastião, Marquês de Pombal, Restauradores and Baixa-Chiado;
Green Line: Telheiras, Campo Grande, Areeiro, Alameda, Rossio, Baixa-Chiado and Cais do Sodré;
Yellow Line: Odivelas, Senhor Roubado, Campo Grande, Campo Pequeno, Saldanha, Marquês de Pombal and Rato;
Red Line: Moscavide, Oriente, Olivais, Alameda, Saldanha and São Sebastião.

During the New Year’s Eve celebrations taking place at Praça do Comércio on December 31^st, the station Terreiro do Paço (Blue line) will close at 18:30 and reopen at 6:30 on January 1^st.

As an alternative, the stations Cais do Sodré and Baixa-Chiado will remain open throughout the early morning of January 1^st.
