Limited train service on the Yellow line/New dates

To minimise the impacts caused by the temporary closure of Cidade Universitária station (Yellow line) and, in particular, due to Brazil’s general election on October 30, which will have polling stations located at Cidade Universitária, Metropolitano de Lisboa has decided to reschedule the track works planned for this station. As such, Cidade Universitária station (Yellow line) will be closed from October 31 to November 07.

During this period, trains on this line will run between Odivelas/Campo Grande and Entre Campos/Rato. Cidade Universitária station will reopen to the public at 6.30 a.m. on November 8, and normal metro service will resume on the entire Yellow line.

During this period, trains on the Yellow line will only run between:

  • Odivelas ↔ Campo Grande
  • Entre Campos ↔ Rato

Cidade Universitária station will reopen to the public at 6.30 a.m. on November 8, and normal metro service will resume on the entire Yellow line.

Campo Grande and Entre Campos stations (Yellow line) will remain open with the following service changes:

Campo Grande

– Departure platform to Odivelas – in operation for departures and arrivals;
– Departure platform to Rato – closed

Entre Campos:

– Departure platform to Odivelas – in operation for departures and arrivals;
– Departure platform to Rato – closed.

Campo Grande station on the Green line will maintain normal service and working hours; the number of trains in operation will be increased to reduce waiting times.

To go to Cidade Universitária from Campo Grande and Entre Campos stations, passengers are advised to use the Carris buses 701 and 736 (subject to capacity).

Buses 717, 738 and 767 are also an option to make the connection from Campo Grande to other points of the Carris and Lisbon Metro networks.

To Odivelas or the city centre, please use the transfer with the Green Line, at Campo Grande station.

Metropolitano de Lisboa apologises for any inconvenience caused by these works.
