On July 8 (Saturday), full operation will be resumed on the Yellow and Green lines, restoring the connection between Telheiras/Campo Grande and Campo Grande/Cidade Universitária.

The service on the Yellow line, between Odivelas and Rato, will resume its full operation with six-carriage trains. In the Green line, six-carriage trains were reinstated on June 12th.

To integrate the completed works into the operating network, it will be necessary to halt the operation on the entire Yellow line and Campo Grande station on the Green line.

Therefore, starting from 9:00 PM (departure time of the last train from each terminal station) on July 7 (Friday):

  • Green line: in operation between Alvalade and Cais do Sodré sations.
  • Yellow line: no service.

With the resumption of normal operation on the Green and Yellow lines, the special shuttle bus service between Telheiras, Campo Grande, and Cidade Universitária will end its operation at 7:30 PM on July 7.

During the partial interruption of service on the Yellow and Green lines, a series scheduled works were carried out to successfully integrate the newly constructed viaducts west of Campo Grande station into the existing infrastructure, as part of the expansion and modernization plan of the Lisbon Metro network.

The ongoing investments in Lisbon Metro will significantly contribute to the reorganization of metropolitan mobility, resulting in an effective increase in the number of public transport users and a decrease in individual vehicle usage. This will lead to significant environmental benefits and an improvement in the quality of service provided by the company to its customers.
