On Saturday, 24 May 2025, Lisbon will host one of the most prestigious events in women’s football – the UEFA Women’s Champions League Final, taking place at Estádio José Alvalade at 17:00.
The Lisbon Metro is one of the most convenient ways to reach the stadium by public transport.
Recommended access by team – station distribution
To ensure a smoother and safer journey to Estádio José Alvalade, the following route distribution is recommended:
- FC Barcelona supporters should use Telheiras station (Green Line).
- Arsenal FC supporters should use Campo Grande station (Yellow Line).
Suggested routes from the Fan Festival (Praça do Comércio)
- FC Barcelona
Baixa-Chiado (Green Line) → Telheiras (Green Line). - Arsenal FC
Terreiro do Paço (Blue Line) → Marquês de Pombal (interchange to Yellow Line) → Campo Grande (Yellow Line).
This guidance will help ensure efficient passenger flow and contribute to the overall safety and comfort of all attendees.
As stadium gates open at 14:00 and the Opening Ceremony is scheduled for 16:45, we strongly encourage supporters to travel early to ensure a safe and phased entry into the stadium.
Metro services will be reinforced during peak periods, with teams on site to assist and guide passengers.
The following occasional tickets are available for Metro journeys:
- Carris/Metro Ticket – €1.85
Valid for unlimited journeys on the Metro and Carris networks (bus, tram, lift and funicular) for 60 minutes from the first to the last validation.
Consecutive Metro trips are not allowed. - Carris/Metro Day Pass – €7.00
Valid for unlimited journeys over a 24-hour period following the first validation on the Metro and Carris networks. - Zapping – €1.66*
Prepaid transport ticket, with the journey value deducted from the card balance. Minimum top-up of €3 and maximum of €40. Also valid on Carris, CP/Comboios de Portugal, Transtejo Soflusa and Carris Metropolitana services.

These tickets must be loaded onto a navegante occasional card (rechargeable, valid for one year, cost: €0.50).
Each card is personal and valid for use by one passenger only per journey. Group use is not permitted.
